This move occurred mid August this summer. We would describe our move as “modest” It was both complicated but straight forward. Complicated in that we are both seniors, downsizing from a 1850 farmhouse family property to a senior living apartment building. The move was uncomplicated from the point of view that the property was being transferred to a family member.. Extra storage of family memorabilia continued to be available. There was no pressure from a sale and closing. It was a modest project because there was a small amount of furniture and we did our own packing.

However, there was a deadline when the movers arrived! Our experience with Simplified Lives was exceptionally positive. After the initial visit from Valerie, we discussed contract services and settled on a “package” that responded to our specific needs. There was no pressure to add services. We were assigned a staff person, Carla, who worked with us during preparation and through moving day. Carla was very efficient and very empathetic with the demands of the move. She easily came along side both of us to keep us on track. On moving day when there was a delay she changed appointments which allowed her to stay until the job was done.

I commend Simplified Lives for the scope of projects they are prepared to take on from the largest to the modest. Thank you!
