A Simplified Life at Cedar Knoll Farm

My advice on how to downsize and get ready for a home renovation project is hitting – well, close to home!

A dumpster has “been dropped” and demolition begins any day! Recently delivered floor tile is sitting on the side porch.

Living in a circa 1840 farmhouse, it is inevitable that we need to modernize and update. Oh, and did I mention that 80% of all work done on this farmhouse (before we moved in) in the last 50 years, has been done poorly – so extra challenging to get the house up to date!

The current project includes complete demolition of our 2nd floor bathroom and linen closet; resulting in bathroom cabinets and linen closet clean out!

Hoping for a six week project – stay tuned!
