BEAUTIFUL HOMES THROUGHOUT SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND

This autumn has been one of the loveliest displays of fall foliage that I can remember!  I always love New England, actually, the change of seasons is one of the reasons I love living here. In September and October, I had the fortune of driving all around New England – and I marvel at the brilliant trees and country vistas!

Simplified Lives has been busy!  We have just completed a move for a client in a large, beautiful home in Osterville, MA.  In early September, we worked on a condo overlooking the Boston Public Garden – with spectacular views of the flower gardens and waterways. We are working on two – yes two! – gorgeous seaside estates in Little Compton, RI. We have just completed a move for a couple in a wonderful old house in Cambridge, MA (adjoining my alma mater, Harvard University).  I spent a week helping a client in a grand mansion on Bellevue Ave in Newport, RI.  And we are currently helping a client move from an “ancient house” in Lincoln, MA amidst lovely old trees with beautiful foliage.  I am so fortunate that I drive around New England and see wonderful homes and beautiful scenery. 

At Simplified Lives, we specialize in very large homes with complicated matters that must be attended to during the move.  We can handle many locations for items to be shipped or stored, we work closely with decorators and architects, and we always work with home managers and maintenance people who manage home media systems and lighting systems including chandeliers, complicated home gymnasiums, pool houses, art installations, truly exceptional artwork, and collections.

We work with anyone who needs help with coordinating a move; including sorting and organizing, decluttering, packing, creating a floorplan, working with the mover on move day – and unpacking, and setting up a new home for our clients.  It can be as simple as downsizing from a house to a 3-room apartment or as complicated as decluttering, packing, and moving the contents of a 12,000 square foot home.

One of our recent clients, the gentleman of a couple, said to me, “You should rename your company, ‘Marriage Savers!”.  We all laughed – but we really do know how to work “magic” in complicated and difficult downsizing and moving situations!

We have just hired two additional move managers to help our current staff.  During this challenging year, we have remained busy because move management is considered “an essential service”.   Sometimes people simply have to move; and we are trained and able to assist with the decluttering, packing, and moving for our clients.

Our staff will change their shoes before they enter a client home, they wear masks, and they wear gloves if the client prefers to have that added protection. 

We have just completed a staff search, and we have hired two new move managers that will be trained in our impeccable standards.  In the spring of 2020, Simplified Lives staff was trained by Snezana Pejic, Program Director/ Master Educator/ Founder of the New England Etiquette Academy.

Our staff is highly trained and we will again be participating in a refresher training, in early 2021, to be sure we continue to provide our clients with attentive and diplomatic service.
